How do I create my first plan? Enter your departure and arrival cities, flight dates and times, and normal sleep schedule. Your first complete itinerary is complimentary without a payment card, whether you choose a one-way or round-trip journey.

Why didn't reinstalling the app give me another free itinerary? The complimentary itinerary is a one-time local offer. Jet Lag Bye stores a non-identifying eligibility marker in the iOS Keychain, so deleting and reinstalling on the same device normally does not reset the offer. The marker itself is device-only, does not transfer to another device, and is never sent to the developer. Separately, restoring an Apple device backup may preserve prior local eligibility.

What can I buy after the free itinerary? In the U.S. App Store, a Single Trip Plan is $9.99 and creates one additional complete one-way or round-trip itinerary. Annual Unlimited is $24.99 per year and includes unlimited travel itineraries plus Reset Sleep while active. Local prices and tax may vary by storefront. There is no free trial.

What is the difference between a Single Trip Plan and Annual Unlimited? A Single Trip Plan is a one-time consumable purchase for one additional itinerary. It does not unlock Reset Sleep, and StoreKit does not restore consumables. An unused local credit may survive only if Apple preserves it in a restored device backup; Jet Lag Bye does not guarantee backup preservation. Annual Unlimited is an auto-renewable subscription with unlimited itineraries and Reset Sleep; it can be restored with the Apple Account used to purchase it.

I already have an annual or monthly subscription. What happens? Existing annual subscribers keep their current subscription price while the subscription remains active. Active legacy monthly subscribers keep their renewal and paid entitlement, although the monthly plan is not marketed to new users. Use Restore Purchases if the entitlement is missing.

How do I manage or cancel Annual Unlimited? Open iOS Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. See Apple's subscription management instructions for other supported methods. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access remains until the end of the paid period.

Can I request a refund? Apple processes all payments and refund decisions. Submit eligible requests at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Why can't I find a city? Try the city name, airport name, or a nearby major city in the same time zone. City search and time-zone lookup use Apple's MapKit and Core Location services, so a network connection may be required for search results.

How far in advance should I begin? The generated timeline may begin several days before departure. The exact timing depends on the time-zone change, travel direction, flight schedule, and your normal sleep schedule.

What do the light recommendations mean? “Seek bright light” can mean going outdoors or using a bright environment. “Avoid bright light” can mean dimming lights or wearing sunglasses. Follow the timing in your plan and use common-sense safety precautions.

Is melatonin required? No. Melatonin guidance is optional and is not medical advice. Ask a qualified healthcare professional before using melatonin, changing sleep patterns, or following guidance that may affect a health condition or medication.

How do I manage notifications? Notification reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Manage permission in iOS Settings > Notifications > Jet Lag Bye, and manage plan reminders inside the app.

How do I delete my data? Delete saved plans from the History screen. Deleting the app removes its ordinary locally stored trip, sleep, progress, and preference data. The non-identifying complimentary-itinerary eligibility marker normally remains in the iOS Keychain on the same device. Restoring an Apple device backup may also bring back prior local eligibility or unused Single Trip Plan credits, although Jet Lag Bye does not guarantee backup preservation. When present, processed or revoked consumable transaction identifiers are kept only locally in the app and are not sent to the developer. Apple retains purchase records under its own policies.

The app is not working as expected.

• Install the latest Jet Lag Bye and iOS updates.
• Force quit and reopen the app.
• Restart the device.
• If city search fails, check the network connection and try a nearby city.

A subscription is missing.

• Confirm the device uses the Apple Account that made the purchase.
• Tap Restore Purchases in Jet Lag Bye.
• Check the subscription status in iOS Settings > your name > Subscriptions.
• Remember that StoreKit does not restore a Single Trip Plan because it is consumable. An unused local credit may reappear only through an Apple device-backup restore, which Jet Lag Bye does not guarantee.
